There are two possible reasons for this problem.
1. DirectX issue
2. Outdated Video Card Driiver
Note: Before doing any troubleshooting, try restarting your computerand check if your 3d max 2012 will work. It's strange but that's howcomputers work. d3dx9_43dll is a file which is included in the directx collection. The current directx in your computer might have an outdated version or corrupted.
