Question about Whirlpool LSB6200KQ Top Load Washer
We have a Whirlpool top loading washing machine that is about 9 years old. Not sure of the model #. Anyways, a few days ago the top part of the agitator quit spinning but the bottom part still works. Everything else is still working just not the agitator. We cannot figure out how to get the agitator off because we are thinking that we need to replace it or could it be something else? Thanks for the help
Your agitator dogs must be replaced.
With a flat blade screwdriver pry off the top cover on the agitator.
Remove the 7/16 bolt inside.
Pull up on the agitator and remove it.
Purchase the agitator dog kit from the appliance parts store.About $10.00.
