Its nothing.. just press continue at that screen. simple :)

but if, after installing this webcam driver, your system starts getting restarted while running this webcam, its because of trojan horse in the driver CD provided by Intex.

there is one file named "Domino.exe" in drivers folder which contains a trojan horse. Just removed that application process from 1. Task manager > Processes and then 2. C:\Windows\domino.exe (delete that file) and also one more file C:\windows\dll.dll

It will work fine then :)

It just means that microsoft hasn't tested that specific software yet, but you can feel safe that allowing it to install anyway will do no harm, manufacturers test their own software excessively and they wouldn't sell dangerous software to you. Hope this helps!

How to Install a Webcam

Purchase a camera. Webcams can range from a basic model for around $30 to ones that contain a motion sensor for around $350 or so. Most mid-priced models come with a microphone install. Decide on what this camera will be used for and choose accordingly.

Read the installation instructions completely before attempting to install the camera. Although this may seem tedious and unnecessary, it can save time and headaches in the long run.

  • 3 Back up the computer's hard drive just to be safe. This will allow for a speedy recovery should the installation mess up the computer.
  • 4 Install the webcam software. Before deciding to install the disc that came with the camera, check the Internet for an updated version of the software and download that if available.
  • 5 Plug in the webcam. The software should give a prompt at the appropriate time. they are usually installed with a USB cable. If installed correctly, the computer will acknowledge so by popping up a message saying it can see the new device.

Download an instant message program if using the web camera for chatting. Some free IM download programs include Yahoo Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger and Apple iChat.

I don't have a webcam on my ACER Aspire M3910-2.

This model Acer does not have a built-in WEBcam.
You need to purchase an USB WEBcam and install the WEBcam driver on your Acer.

I am having a INTEX IT 305WC webcamera of 2005 model. It runs well on windowsXP till a few days back.. I installed now windows 7. Now I cannot instal the web cam. Maybe the drivers are to be updated....

I found this, maybe it will help you.

Hey, Intex web cam (in my case IT - 305WC) can work on Windows 7 if you download camsplitter software. After installation select camsplitter as an option for setup video source. Now if any settings are required (for example doing video conferencing in skype) then select camsplitter as webcam instead of VIMICRO or Avermedia.
This has solved my problem and hopefully it will solve yours also. Download camsplitter at http://download.cnet.com/CamSplitter/3000-2348_4-10276275.html or other websites.

How will i install intex IT-305WC driver... it is again and again showing that plug-in the device but i have already plugged in?

try unplugging the device- re-installing the software & drivers, then plug the device in-(if it's USB!). if not, shut the computer down, plug the device in and re-boot! take the cd out first! if you get the new hardware wizard for MS, then tell it you have the cd- browse to the cd device letter-after re-inserting cd and go from there! if it tells you there's no info on the cd to install hardware, swear eloquently, then go back and let windows find the damned drivers for it! if they state that it's not windows approved, tell them to install it anyways!! i've been through this sh*t so many times that i tolerate ms os's, but have no great love for them!! apple has much more stable and reliable machines, but who can afford them?? then again, what is your sanity worth?? enough of the venting!
    good luck!

    Webcam not work properly

MS certification is used to validate software, but it is NOT required. Run the setup again. When the cert window comes up, click 'continue' and the installation should complete properly.

Good luck, and please let me know how it works out.

How do i install my webcam without the cd

You basiclly have to take a note of the maker and model number of the webcam. Then goto the homepage for the webcam maker , and look/search for a link for "drivers" or "software"....it is usually under a "Support" section...

From there you just have to input your model and it should give you the correct software to download. After downloading and installing , everything will function correctly.

If you have any trouble feel free to post up your make and model here and I can try to get it for you!
