Question about Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook
So, my new Acer Aspire One Netbook claims to be connected to my wireless home internet, but when I attempt to browse the web, only get the message "cannot show webpage."
I went to the Configurations window, and my wireless network isn't listed in the options of networks to configure; nothing is listed. Is this a problem?
Also, I am living in Spain, so calling tech support is not really an option. Help!
You first need to establish that you have internet available to your router via cable modem, dsl, etc. Unless your modem is also your wireless router. Take your ethernet connection or cable that resembles a large phone cable and plug in your Acer One directly into the router. You should then be able to get internet. If not, you may have a problem with your internet in general and need to contact your Internet Service Provider. Also if possible try another pc, see if it has internet. Lastly try reinstalling wireless diver in device manager.
