You cant reset the bios password Of the Satellite A215 just by removing cmos battery you need to reset the contents of the flash eeprom that stores several values like the password, serial number, MAC adress, OEM numbres.

The CMOS battery is the battery that keeps things like your system clock and other BIOS setting from having to be reset each time, usually they are located on the motherboard you may have to disassemble the laptop to find it, or it may be in the battery compartment, I can't find anything from Toshiba on where it is located at.

Toshiba p300 -1a8 asking for "BIOS"

You need to reset the contents of the flash eeprom that stores values like the password, serial number, MAC address and OEM numbers. This can often be acheived by removing and replacing the CMOS battery, which is (usually) located on the motherboard. You may have to disassemble the laptop to get at it.

I wiped clean my toshiba satellite pro p300 and tried to load operating system ,screen say's press enter to continue loading, when i press enter screen shows cannot find hard drive etc etc can anyone...

If you insert your Vista or Win7 disc into the DVD drive and boot form that, make sure that the BIOS is set to recognise the hard disc. The OS disc will do the rest. If it cannot find the hard disc, maybe the hard disc is faulty.
When you are successful, go to toshiba.com and download the latest drivers and firmware for the BIOS.
Hope that helps.
