1. Go to windows update (Open Internet explorer, in tools menu You should find windows update)
2. Start it, and follow any messages that appear on screen.
3. In one moment it will offer You microsoft update, so install it.
4. After microsoft update is installed, it will offer quick and custom options - click custom, and wait for it to scan Your system
5. After scan is complete, You'll get an option to upgrade to sp3 (only if You already don't have it), so upgrade. It will probably ask for a reboot, so reboot, and do everything from step 1 onwards (update won't ask for installing microsoft update again)
6. You'll get a list of upgrades. Go to hardware on the left side of the screen, and select ALL options (these are the drivers that windows found for Your machine)
7. Select all other updates, wait for them to install, and it will ask you to reboot one more time.
8. After this, most of Your drivers will be installed. check for other missing drivers in the device manager (right click my computer, select manage, and then device manager, check for the devices with yellow question mark.)
9. go to the website of Your laptop maker (You didn't state the model, so I don't know which is it), search the downloads for the missing drivers and install them

My Mac will not install the Digital camera Solution Disk says my screen resolution is insufficient...

This must be because you have a widescreen monitor or because you have set a screen resolution that's too low for anything.
Most programs ask for a screen resolution higher than 1024x768 (which they rarely actually need) to install.
So you can change yours to that value (or higher) for the installation and if it distorts your display, set it back to the original value later.
To see how to change your resolution, go to this site; http://www.ehow.com/how_2064940_change-display-resolution-mac-osxchange-display-resolution-mac-osx.html
After setting the resolution to 1024x768 or higher, run the installation and it should proceed with no problems.

Hi, i own compaq presario CQ42 369TU laptop, how do i increase my screen resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x1024 or higher ?

For Windows XP...

1.
Open Display in Control Panel.
2.
On the Settings tab, under Screen resolution, drag the slider, and then click Apply.
3.
When prompted to apply the settings, click OK. Your screen will turn black for a moment.
4.
Once your screen resolution changes, you have 15 seconds to confirm the change. Click Yes to confirm the change; click No or do nothing to revert to your previous setting.

If you cannot set it any higher than 1024x768 and you have already installed the video drivers, that is as high as it can go for your hardware.

Cannot get LP340 to work on Vista pc

Try Lowering your screen resolution slightly and/or booting up the pc after the projector is plugged in and running.
Also if the 340 has multiple inputs check you are on the correct RGB or VGA input.
Good Luck!

Toshiba Windows Vista resolution problem

Depending on the version of A100 you have, 1280X800 may be the max resolution for your graphics card. Read the user manual for your specific model to see what the max resolution is, but usually, the video driver will lock out resolutions that your screen cannot handle.
If, for some odd reason, your screen can handle a higher resolution, try updating the video drivers.

Now to answer your other questions;
  • There is no 64 bit color mode; and if there was it would be redundant, as humans can't see that many colors.
  • 60Hz is fine and is probably the best your monitor can do.

Samsung 27'' lcd tv for Pc Monitor resolution max is only 1024x768

Use a DVI (female) to HDMI (male) cable to connect your PC video card to the LCD TV. You will then be able to use the full resolution of the LCD TV. You will always be limited to the max resolution of the TV though, not matter your video card.

Display Resolution

Make sure you have the correct driver loaded from the Fujitsu website. Additionally, try removing the Display Adapter from device manager and reboot. This will allow Windows to identify the "new" hardware and attempt to install. If asked, point Windows to the driver files from Fujitsu and that should fix you up :)

Hope this helps!

Screen size

Hello,

Most Likely: Your screen resolution needs to be 1024x768.
Less Likely: You have an Appearance scheme such as Large Contrast.

Solution: Access Control Panel, select Display, then Settings tab and then move the slider to the above or higher resolution.

In the Theme or Appearance tab (depending on OS) choose a generic Theme or Color Scheme.

Regards,
Worldvet
