Trying to connect my PC to my TV using HDMI cable TV displays no signal PC LENOVO V570. I can connect to my other TV and works without problems..

Some TV's have to be off before you connect the HDMI cable to the computer. Try connecting the cable that way. Computer on --tv off--connect cable-- turn tv on.

How to hook up vcr when using a cable box

That will depend upon what you want to do. If you plan to record to the VCR from the cable box, then the cable box will need to directly connect to the VCR, then the output of the VCR is connected to the TV. Unfortunately, most VCRs are analog, not digital, so you will lose HD capability (if you have it) trying to connect this way. You also cannot record one show while watching something else (you will need to be tuned to the channel you are recording). If you want to simply use the VCR to view recorded tapes, then connect the cable box to the TV as per the cable company recommendations, and then make a second connection for the VCR. Of course, your TV will need appropriate and available jacks on the rear to do this. It is difficult to give specifics without knowing the models of the cable box, VCR, and TV.

I cant view my sky channel on my tv

So you want to view your sky TV in a different room?
You can achieve this a number of ways.

Purchase the multi-room package from Sky TV. This will give you fully independent TV reception in each room. (Basically two sky boxes)

Purchase a TV sender which will wirelessly duplicate the output on the TV to another device.

Connect your Sky box to a second TV with high-quality co-axial aerial cable connected to the RF2 output on the back of the Sky box.

Is it possible to connect PC wirelessly? If so, how? I can connect via wires but prefer wireless.

Hey william,
Ok. A portible computer can connect wirelessly as long as you have a router from a supporting cable provider. what this means is lets say you have cable from...xfinity. They will set you up with a router like any other company. This router pravides a wireless adaption to your computer that can last about 3 floors up and 3 miles away. Click the bars on your task bar and click "scan for available connections" and choose your connection. sadly you can only go wired but after that get a yellow support wire and plug in to the computer and hock it up to the TV and put the computer`s sleep mode off. this sleep mode will basicly turn off all programs and go to sleep cutting off the internet on your TV.
IF YOU WISH TO PUT YOUR TV WIRELESSLY THEN GO TO OPTIONS AND PRESS INTERNET AND CONNECT AND THERE YOU GO!

How do i hook up and connect netflix on my tv

If you are talking about a streaming Netflix account, it depends on the TV and the internet connection you have. Some new TVs can connect to your wireless router (either with built in wireless or a USB dongle from the manufacturer). Other TVs have a wired ethernet jack. Most older sets will need to be connected to your computer or a set top box (either a blu-ray player with internet connection or a device like the Logitech Revue or Boxee).

Some TVs can be connected to a computer via the HDMI port; most have a VGA port. (If your TV supports neither, you will need a VGA to component or composite video adapter. Not just a VGA to component cable which is for projectors (RGB versus YPbPr signals). In this case, you connect to your Netflix account via the computer and set the TV as a monitor. (Details will depend on the OS. In general connect the computer to the TV when both are off. Before starting to connect the devices, make sure the external video port is active (this may need to be turned on in the BIOS). Then turn on the TV and set it to the correct input then turn on the computer. In Windows 7, right click on the desktop to enable the second monitor if needed. For a laptop, it is under Graphics Properties (set display to both, internal or external or extended screen). For my desktop, it is under Screen Resolution. In either case, click Apply and then confirm this when the second screen comes on.

For an non-computer connection, what model TV do you have? For an ethernet connection, make sure you know the IP address of your router and determine if you have a static or dynamic IP address (DHCP is most common). If you have one with wireless capability, follow the directions from the OSD menu to set up the connection between the wireless router and the TV (you may need to tell your router to accept the MAC address of the TV, do this from a computer that is already connected to the router). Then direct the tv to Netflix and enter your account setting. If you need a wired connection, you will need to run RJ-45 cable from your TV to your router. Then set up the rest as above. If you are using a set top box, you will need to follow similar steps after connecting the set top box to the TV and turning both devices on.

I hope this helps.

try this first:
Setup and Connection
The TV won't turn on Check your power cable connection.
• t can't view the Basic channels. Check the connection of the antenna cable
• t want to view cable channels. Register with your local cable company then connect their receiver to your TV.
• t want to view satellite channels. Setup your Satellite parabola antenna then connect your satellite receiver to the TV.
• Digital broadcasting is not functioning Check your antenna cable connection. Check if the digital channel selection is correctly
connected to your antenna cable.

Samsung 650 lcd 40" tv picture blacks out for a few seconds.

Dude, better check your cable and also your TV's power management settings. This might also happen due a issue with the HDMI output of the satellite box.

Tiling on HDTV

FIXED MY TILING PROBLEM-FINALLY !!!!
After months and months of freezing pictures and audio drop outs, I took it upon myself to see if I could fiquire this out.

In the attic I located my main cable feed was connecting to a 5-way splitter. That means my signal is being split 5 different time to go to 5 different TV jacks.

FIRST, I disconnected the main cable line from the 5-way splitter and connected it to a 2-way splitter.
SECOND, I connected the line that goes to my main TV (cable box) to the 2-way splitter.
THIRD, I connected a cable from the 2-way splitter back to the 5-way splitter.

THAT'S IT !!!!

My other TVs which don't use a cable box, never had any tiling issues, just the HDTV with the cable box. So now the signal to the HDTV is only split twice instead of 5 times.

Periodic tv screen blackouts

The problem is your cable box. I know you said you replaced it, but I work on TV's everyday and, sorry to say this but cable box HDMI outputs have serious issues, like no or intermittent sound and video. I have seen customers exchange their cable boxes 5 and 6 times and still have the problem. Your best bet is to use the component outputs of your cable box, visually you will not see a picture difference between component and HDMI when using a cable box. Your other solution is to get satellite; I have NEVER seen an HDMI issue with a satellite box
