We can't look at our recordings and when we try to click on my recordings the box shuts off

Hi, my name is Cheri Torres and I am with DISH Network Customer Service. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. I do have a few questions about the issue that you are having so that I can give you the best possible answer on how to fix this. When you try to access your recordings do you ever get an error message and if so what is the three digit number in the top right corner of the error message? Once your receiver box turns off does it reboot itself and turn back on or do you have to do something specific to get the receiver box to turn back on? One trouble shooting step you may want to try if you already have not is unplugging your DISH receiver from the power source outlet for 10 seconds then plug back in. In order to respond back to my questions you can either post back here or you can also email me at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com and I will be happy to assist you further. Thanks! :)

Failed tv reception after about an hour????

Witout knowing your set up I can only guess at the set top box getting hot and failing.
Is the Teac box well ventillated? If not, put it somewhere where it can get cool air (ie not enclosed in a TV cabinet for instance).
I doubt it's your antenna if it works for a while, but you maty want to have your coax connection checked out. If you use a booster, that may be failing.
Sorry I can't be of any further use.

My sagem dvr62160sl uk digital reciever wont work

A number of Sagem models have shown incompatibilities with the recent Freeview retune, there is a list of affected models (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/pdfs/01_10_09_freeview2.pdf ) but it's not a fully comprehensive list. Sagem error code 07 means there's an access problem in back-up memory (stored in the EEPROM) and code 09 means the machine has been unable to find any data necessary to do an upgrade. In essence, your box has tried to upgrade itself and failed and now cannot restore to it's previous state.

Your dvr62160sl is closely related to the dtr6240 and 6280 models which are known to have had issues and so the official advice is to contact Sagem directly on 0845 0900 316 to find out how whether they can supply a solution on a dvd or if they've scheduled an OAD (over air update).

I hope that you've found my posting to be of use and ask only that you return the favour by rating my answer.

Remote control for teac set top box HDB842 will not work .

I had the same problem and tried new batteries with no success until I had a close look at the terminals. One of the +ve terminals was rusted (Ithink a drink spill, hastilly wiped off). After restoring this terminal everything is now OK. Hope this helps.

Sagem pvr 6200T UK freeview box, display frozen.

I left the box and went for a walk!!!

About four hours after having freezed an error 09 message came up on the set top display and then everything returned to normal, after an on TV screen message that update had been successful.!?!

No difference in in any operation of the freeview box.

Note to self and other users
DO NOT PRESS OK WHEN ASKED TO UPDATE SET TOP BOX.

Updating the channel tuning does seem to work ok, though I have to vary between where channel 4 can be found - or learn welsh!
