Hi!
I have a big problem with an Acer Altos G530 server, which randomly gets
hanged with no error, no BOD, nothing, just a black screen. I have been
researching this problem for more than two months, but no success in
diagnosing what's happening. Any help would be appreciated.
any way i have a question and is about the right version i should install on
this computer, this is a Xeon 3,0Ghz processor machine, i am asking if i can
install Windows 2003 Server SBS standard, or i better should install the X64
version for this machine?. And if i install the x86 version, can i use the
x64 drivers?, and viceversa?, thanks in advance may be for this stupid
question, but i am desesperate and i doubt of myself every minute.
Thanks!

have an 86 based hardware, you can only install the 86 version. Generally
you should not use any drivers cross versions. You might get away with using
32bit drivers on a 64bit system but not anything that is related to the OS.
You can however install some 32bit based software on a 64bit OS. Be aware
that you might run into problems.
