(LOGITECHDESKTOPMESSENGER.EXE)

Hello marchits2002, please have a look in your Startup and disable the filename you stated above from running on startup.

To do this - Press Windows Key + R (to open the Run Dialog), then type MSCONFIG.EXE and press Enter.

You can now see the fourth tab called Startup, have a look at the list and uncheck any startup items you don't find necessary.

Apply the changes and restart computer. Done.

Logitech desktop messenger lacks a the id seperator

What's the title and exact message again?  It sounds like something went haywire in that program's settings; make a backup of them (or rename the files) and make a new settings file, or reinstall the program.  Fixed?

Hi Kirkpilarmax, Here how to solve your issue:
Please proceed to Clean boot before installing: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=228
Before running the installer, locate the EXE file and right click on it -> Properties -> Run as administrator
Then select, custom install and do not select logitechdesktopmessenger

Runner error message!

this as you know is the logitech software update manager that is running in the background and is probably unable to connect with the internet or the logitech site for news and updates. If you do not want the programme to run at all go to Start>run then type msconfig and hit enter, and on the startup tab and look for runner.exe on c:\logitech line and untick it. Click apply and restart pc. If you wish it to run you may have to install the software again as it is either corrupt or unable to connect with the logitech sever.
