Question about Panasonic PV-L750 Camcorder

1 Answer

Panasonic 26x plug it into laptop and it asked what I want to do. I click on copy pics to my computer and then nothing happens. Not sure why it was working perfectly the week before. Went to check status and it said hardware cannot be detected. When I go to add it panasonic is not listed. What can I do to add it back? It was so easy before. I would be very appreciative of help

Go to my computer and look for a removeable device drive. When you see it, click on it and see if your pictures are there.

How do I download pics from camera to laptop, there was no software in Coolpix L330 bundle?

Often, if you simply connect the camera to your computer by the appropriately connectored USB cable (the camera is likely to have a mini connector; there may be one with the camera) the computer will recognize the camera, and ask if you want to download pictures using the windows wizard that exists for the purpose. You may need to be connected to the internet if you want your computer to search the internet for installation/or appropriate software.

Consider NOT connecting the camera to the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Downloading Pics to PC

Make sure the camera is on and pc is selected on the camera screen when connected to the computer. You will need to have PC highlighted and select ok on the camera as this starts the camera and computer to communicate. Once communication established the LCD screen of the camera goes dark and the computer should generate a removable disk drive. Check the System Tray (lower right corner beside the PC time) for Safely Remove Hardware. When you click on it, it should read "Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device Drive ?:" If you dont see that, then check the Device Manager to see if the camera is recognized as USB Mass Storage Device. The camera uses the driver usbstor.

GETTING PICS OFF MY I9 PHONE.

Try this. make sure your phone is turned off then plug the usb cable into both the phone and the computer. Next if a promtp screen doesnt come up on the computer asking which application you want to use go to your start menu on your computer. Then go to your My Computer, look for Removable disk K, click on that and it should show the folders in your phone, then right click or left click to do what you want to do with the contents of the folder.
