Canon Typestar 4 (How to use as a typewriter vs. word processor)
Is their someone out there that can tell me how to use the Typestar 4 as a typewriter vs a word processor or where I can find a manual? I tried pressing the mode key to get NP to show in the display, but that doesn't work. Appreciate whatever help can be passed on. Thanks. Jim

I understand you are using one of thse vintage word-processor typewriters. Specify Brand and Make but even without this info my opinion is that probably you should find someone specialized to repair it. I have one of these, an Olivetti I bought 25 years ago, and simply never could get anyone to repair it.
I just got a typestar on ebay, new-still in box. I'd be happy to scan the manual and email it to you if you still need one. This is a pretty old post. But it appears the ribbons have been discontinued. I'm pretty sad, I wanted to actually use this machine lol.
