Question about HP Deskjet F340 All-In-One Printer
I have an F340 HP all-in -one and the work arouind for me is to go into paint program and click "FILE" scroll down to from "SCANNER/CAMERA" and click scanner then save file.Windows Vista does NOT recognise the scan button on the actual printer ..I got this from the HP website cause I had same issue -- perhaps this will work you ..If not try going to their software support...enter your product and see if they have solution available for your printer model if this doesn't work for you....

I was about to pull out my hair, being a Windows systems administrator for 10 years and not figuring out how to get the scanner to work with Vista. The mentioned operation via mspaint works! Absolutely stupid, but at least I can use this scanner. HP has always been bad about driver updates with new OS's...
