I would recommend you to do a system restore on your computer.
I hope that fixes your problem!

This will reset network settings to its state that existed when the operating system was installed

    1. Go to Start -> Run -> Type "cmd" and hit Enter.

    2. In the command prompt type the following: 'netsh int ip reset' and hit enter.
    3. You will need to reboot your computer after typing this command.

I also recommend doing the following after rebooting your computer:

    1. Go to Start -> Run -> Type "cmd" and hit Enter.
    2. In the command prompt type the following: 'netsh winsock reset'
    3. You will need to reboot your computer after typing this command.

Hello
Wow youve done almost everything here. How about the firewall? is it blocking any connections?

Next,Go to control panel, network and sharing center.Look and see if the pc or laptop in question is on the same network, meaning home or public.

Set all your machines to the same network.Either home or public.I do know this has been a win 7 problem.

Hi another issue can be that around you there are several wireless networks on the same canal.
You may want to change wireless canal from your router configuration page

Hi, I am trying to get my new Acer up and running. It will not connect to the internet. It is asking me to type in the network security key. I have no idea what it is asking for. Please help.

Its the password for your network. If your trying to use someone elses network you need to ask them. If it yours then you should know your security password for your network.

Inspiron 6400 detects networks but does not connect to internet

Make sure you are connecting to your own internet connection through your wireless router and not on your neighbor's.....limited connectivity means you are out of reach or signal is blocked....

Dell Inspirion E1505 internet connection problem

Have you properly entered in all of your network's info into the laptop?  Sometimes security settings can block access to the Wireless network.  Here's a quick way to diagnose network connection.  (Make sure you know the IP address of your router!)
1. open your Command Prompt
2. type in the following "ping (Router IP address example: 192.168.1.1 " after entering the following press enter.  (you should see a series of lines that say how long the packet took to make a round trip...if not, then you have no connection to the wirless network)
3. if the results of the ping test read "100% loss" you know that connection is definately not established.
Your next course of action should be to inspect your laptop's settings and ensure that your laptop can "see" the router.  If your laptop's NIC ( Network Interface Card ) cannot detect the network it is possible that the NIC is bad or your router isn't set to "Broadcast" your SSID ( Service Set Identifier ) aka network.  this following article might be able to assit you in the troubleshooting process more throughly.  I hope this to be of some help to you!

Help mi out plzzzz(wireless problem)

what you can see on your network connections? If you can see some icon of internet connection or local network connection you can right click and then point to properties after that you can see the local area connections properties. double click the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) click it and then click obtain automatically ip address. Some wireless network, you can see the network provider which you can see on your network locations. Sometimes you can put specific ip adress of your provider. If not? you can make your own network connection, right click the internet connection and then click properties follow the instruction and go to network connection and sign up your username and password so that you can access through internet connections.

Got it!!

Generally speaking a virus won't just mess with your IP settings. They can cause alot more damage by allowing you to connect to the network if you know what I mean.
Does the network also run a wireless link at all?
If so, then whoever is managing it may have locked down the router by disabling the DHCP to help protect it.
It could also be that someone has changed the settings on the routers access page, maybe even by accident. It is after all just one tick in a box.

Moderate problem

There's no way a USB can cause this problem...Its got nothing to do with network adapters unless internet connection uses a USB powered Wireless Network Adapter..
