Hi,what type of jumpers do you mean? if you want to clear your bios you can use jumpers calls "CLR-MOS" or "CL-ms" or "cms_clr" that it means CLEAR CMOS or CLEAR MOS (stands for mosfet transistors built in mother board eeprom" you can clear it this way: shutdown the pc or laptop find the jumper pull the backup battery up use a screw driver or an iron pin to short the jumpers together(if you dont find the jumpers after pulling up the battery short the battery+- together) wait 10 sec and then pull in the battery after that you have to go to your bios setting and set some data if you dont you may see errors like this in your screen before windows start up: "DMI POOL DATA CHANGED" PRESS F1 TO continue" or something like that; and if you dont know the bios setting ask from experts to do it for you because this setting is too dangerous and may harm your hardware,if you dont know dont touch it, and one more thing: if you mean another jumpers?dont touch it because some mother boards use jumpers for their settings or you may harm your hardware kind regards
Hi, If do not hear any beep then it means that the mother board is dead you can try clear the BIOS by removing the battery of the mother board for 5 mins or by shorting the jumper for clearing the BIOS if that didn't help then you have to repair the board or replace it.
Intel mother board is very populer brand.I like it very much.If itself, It has three leg jumper near the cmos battery.1-2 short defaultor normal.2-3 short clear cmos.you like 2-3 short then fix your bios password.you must be power switch on.Un plug power cable.again jumper short 1-2 normal position. your bios clear.
If you're replacing a motherboard then the new motherboard has a jumper across the on/off jumpers. If this is used board then check to make sure the on/off jumper pins are not shorted. If OK boot up and go into BIOS. Make sure that any line stating Automatic Turn ON is off.
With most pc's there is either a switch or a jumper situated on the mother board, power down pc, move jumper to alternative pins, or flip switch then power on then off, put jumper/switch into original position bios password is now cleared. for jumper switch configuration should be on inside of pc cover or in your manual
Assuming this is a desktop and when you say you can't access it because of a password, there is a solution. -Unplug your computer -Press the power button to release all power in the capacitors -Open up the case -Ground yourself by touching the metal case but not the board. -Look towards the edge of the mother board, there is usually a button or a jumper (a set of two pins with a black piece of plastic across them) -Press the button or remove the jumper -Plug the computer in and start it
You should be able to access the BIOS now. Once you finish, replace the jumper if needed and you are clear. You might want to reset the password in the BIOS while you are in there though.
if u dont knoe the password
u must clear it
u can your clear withyour bios
see the jumper of three pin near cmos cell
set the jumper to 2-3 position then give power too mother bord 3-5times.
then set it to its original position.
then if your pro is same by mistalke.
u can also clear it bye remove cmos cell from its case for 15 minutes.then start pc u not need to enter password.
you can clear the cmos by removing the bettery, wait for 10 to 15 seconds then reinstall the battery. you can also clear the cmos by transferring the jumper of cmos clear from your mother board. remove the jumper from pin1-2 then transfer to pin3-4 then return to pin1-2 then power on
