Try to install flash player in your laptop.Because videos on youtube are in .FLV format so it requires flash codec to run videos.

How do you get you tube to play on archos 7

You can watch it with the help of Opera browser. Adobe haven't released flash 10 for mobile yet. But You CAN play videos on youtube. Go to the link, then click on something on the upper right corner of the video, which is "open in new window" . You will be able to watch the video.

As far as I know, the Archos 5/7 cannot play youtube HQ or youtube HD. Another way to say, it doesn't show "HD" or "HQ" for you to click on.

Also you can watch the youtube videos on http://www.youtube.com/xl

Hi we are trying to watch on youtube, but the videos is always stopping and not moving i mean its is like a picture only, i think there is a problem in my tube please healp me thanks a ot

Hi. I think I know what your problem might be.

Forst, start a video, any video from YouTube, then pause it.

Next right click on the video portion of the screen, so that it gives a drop down list.
Click on settings.

I just bet that the box for hardware acceleration has a checkmark in it, uncheck it.

Now try starting a different video, that way it loads up the player fresh.
It should work with the new settings.

If that doesn't fix it, then start a video and pause it again, and right click again.
This time select global settings, and it will takr you to a new page for settings.

Click on storage settings, and click the box to allow 3rd party software to store as well as alloow common software to store on your computer.

Place a check mark in both boxes, and then close the window.
Then go back to YouTube and play a video. and everything should be working now.

If there's no problem with your internet connection speed, updating the flash player and quicktime will fix it.
Click here to download the latest Adobe Flash Player, open the link, download and install it. Restart the browser and try again.
(the latest version is adobe flash player 10, if it's already installed, uninstall and reinstall the version 9.0)
Click here to download Quicktime Player.

It's also important to restart your computer after you are done installing.

Clear all the temporary internet files, caches, cookies after closing the browser and try again. To clear the temporary internet files, cookies etc.. go to control panel open the "Internet Options" click the "Delete" button on the general tab, confirm it and restart your computer. Now try playing the youtube videos again.

The most common issue is the internet connection speed and the system configuration.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Good day. I have a sony vaio pcg-9g1l with 512 RAM and with 8MB in video and I want to know how to expand the video memory for my laptop gets a bit slow when watching youtube videos. I tried changing the...

For a laptop, "it is what it is" -- namely that the laptop was designed to use 8MB of your RAM for "video" purposes.
Unlike a "desktop" computer, the video-card is not a "user-replaceable" part.

If your computer is "slow" when downloading from YouTube,
start downloading a video, and click 'pause', to allow the download
to continue, while the playback has been paused. Then, a minute later, click 'resume', to see if the downloaded video "plays" at the "normal" rate, without any video artifacts.

I have a problem when watching video from youtube, they keep on pausing and buffering every 3 seconds how can i solve this?

Probably your internet connection is too slow. Try to click on Pause right after you click Play and wait to be loaded on the hard drive. Then you click Play and it will not be interrupted.

HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM?

What browser are you using? Firefox? Internet Explorer? I have had this same problem. Try to uninstall the flash player and reinstall it. If that doesn't work and you are using Firefox, try to
uninstall and reinstall Firefox, just remember to save (export) your bookmarks first. Good Luck.
