The graphics card doesn't support this game. Many realistic type games "Highly Realistic Graphics" need the added performance of a dedicated higher end graphics card. Example: I'm a huge gamer and I play games that you could/would play on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4. So my Gaming Video Card cost me $480 US dollars. ( High End )
Look at the recommended, supported Video Card for Black Ops and go from that point "Note" If your computer is a laptop; chances are, you will not be able to do any video upgrades. You'd just be out of luck and your laptop wasn't made for higher end games. If it is a Desktop, you might be in luck. To upgrade a desktop: (1) Available video card slot (2) Does the computer case support a video card upgrade (3) What power supply does your computer have and what WATT Power supply does the new video card need. Most higher end video cards need a higher WATT power supply - So standard power supply 350 WATT - Video upgrade average 500Watt to 800Watt.
hi. The amd semprom has similar to an intel celeron. These cpu's are not gaming cpu's. The graphics card you are using is now quite old- very few agp graphics cards are made now. I would say that the cpu and gpu may be the problem but it depends what game you are playing. New video cards use pci express slot and new cpu's are dual core and quad core. If you are serious abot games then you could do with a new motherboard- maybe one supporting an intel core 2 duo cpu, to that add at least a Nvidia 9600gt 512mb gddr3 video card and have 3-3 gb's of ram.
The problem is most likely that you have a computer that isn't powerful enough to run the latest games. It's not only the video card that makes these games run. It's the amount of RAM and processor speed, along with a good video card. That is what makes games run.
Basic gaming specifications At least a dual-core processor Definitely over 1GB of RAM A graphics card with 256MB of VRAM
Those specifications are the minimum required for the latest games to run.
Make sure you are installing the drivers for the right OS, for example XP and 64 bit XP, or Vista 32 and Vista 64 are different drivers. Go to nvidia.com and select drivers, and select the right card, OS, and version, and download the drivers directly from nvidia site.
GO INTO CONTROL PANEL AND GO TO PERSONIZATIONS AND OPEN DISPLAY SETTINGS, OPEN ADVANCED SETTINGS,
OPEN THE FOLDER THAT SUPPORTS YOU VIDEO DRIVERS DEVICE IT MAYBE CALLED CONTROL CENTER
MINE SAYS CATALYST CONTROL CENTER OPEN IT
OPEN ATI CATALST CONTROL CENTER
YOU WILL FIND THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ABOUT YOU SYSTEMS ADVANCED SETTING SO YOU CAN PLAY THOSE GAMES.
3D THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO HELP YOU PLAY YOUR GAMES GO TO :
AVIVO TM VIDEO
ALSO SOME WHERE IN THESE SETTING IS WHERE YOU MAY CHECK A BOX FOR THE GAME THAT LOAD CERTAIN DRIVERS FOR EACH GAME BECAUSE ALL MFG DONT HAVE THE SAME SETTING FOR THERE GAMES SO CHECK THE BOX
THEY START GAMES WITH NUMBER 1ST
THAN FROM A-Z
The game is using all the video ram which is causing the problem. You can try running the game with the bare essentials running in the background but newer games seem to want at least 1 GB of video RAM. Hope this helps.
