Try placing the phone in a sealed ziplock bag of uncooked rice, without the battery, to try to draw out any remaining moisture in the phone. Try using again after a day or so.

How do I down load photo's from my Samsung 2 phone please

First make sure you have the correct USB drivers for your phone installed on your pc. Go to device manager and see if your phone or mass storage device is listed. If not, download the drivers here, http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads. Make sure debugging on your phone is enabled. Please refer to the following:

  1. To set the Samsung Galaxy S2 to USB Mass Storage (MSC) mode, go into "Settings > Applications > Development" and enable "USB debugging".

  2. Then drag the status bar down and tap on "USB connected".

  3. The "USB connected" screen with the large green Android icon will appear. Tap on "Connect USB storage".

A confirmation dialog box will appear. Tap "OK". The green Android icon will turn orange, indicating that the phone is now in USB Mass Storage mode and should now appear as USB disk drives in "Devices with Removable Storage" and be assigned drive letters.

Samsung Galaxy S2 (Android 4.0)

  1. To set the Samsung Galaxy S2 to USB Mass Storage (MSC) mode, go into "Settings > More... > USB utilities" and tap on "Connect Storage to PC".

  2. Then plug the USB cable into the device and connect to your computer.

  3. The "USB connected" screen with the large green Android icon will appear. Tap on "Connect USB storage".

  4. A confirmation dialog box will appear. Tap "OK". The green Android icon will turn orange, indicating that the phone is now in USB Mass Storage mode and should now appear as USB disk drives in "Devices with Removable Storage" and be assigned drive letters.

My phone stock at the recovery mode

If you can't kick it using DFU mode, it may be worth trying the following method:

With the phone off and the USB cable plugged into your computer and iTunes started, hold the home button and plug the USB cable into the phone, keep holding the home button and it will start in recovery mode, try restoring that way.

There are also 3rd party programs that will kick the phone out of recovery if there are no underlying problems:

Google tiny umbrella

Hope this helps

How to connect nokia 6300 in pc via USB

heya !
Before you plug your phone to your PC install the Nokia PC suite from here OR ovi from here. It 's usefull to save the contacts datas and other things to your PC, or to synchronise PC and Phone.

1 . You need to have a USB/mini-USB Cable to do that.
you can find it here for exemple.
2 . you have to plug the Mini-USB into your phone here
3 . the other part of the USB Cable go into your PC.

When you plug the phone to your PC you will have to choose the mode of conectivity you need to transfer datas :

-Nokia mode (it use the software Nokia PC suite OR ovi)
-UsB connect (it use windows explorer as an external disk)
-and an other mode that i haven't use yet.

*Voila :)
Bbye.

While connecting nokia N95 8GB chinese phone to pc, its USB does not recognize by window and showing message that USB has malfunction, window does not recognize

Hello

Try connecting to another usb port, directly on the computer, also check that the cable is plugged into the phone properly.
if either connector is broken it wont get recognized.
try atleast 5 times, reconnect the cable, try other ports etc, turn off the phone, turn it back on, restart your computer.

Try with another computer, if the problem persists on all computers and no matter what you do, then you have either a faulty phone, broken connector or in very rare cases broken cable.
if you replace the cable and the problem remains then its either faulty phone or broken connector on the phone.

contact your seller for warranty replacement.

As this is a CHINESE phone, NOKLA. Not NOKIA.
NOKIA will not repair this phone.

Cannot connect to computer

FIRST OF ALL, NEVER EVER PLUG IT INTO THE COMPUTER WHILE ITS ON. ALWAYS TURN THE PHONE OFF BEFORE HAND. AS FAR AS YOUR COMPUTER NOT RECOGNIZING THE USB CABLE, IT MAY ACTUALLY BE YOUR COMPUTER. AFTER ALL IF IT WAS THE CABLE, YOUR PHONE WOULDN'T CHARGE SINCE IT IS THE SAME CABLE FOR CHARGING AND USB CONNECTIONS. MY COMPUTER HAS HAD TROUBLE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN PLUGGING IN NEW OR DIFFERENT DEVICES INTO THE PORT. TO CHECK THE USB PORT ON YOUR COMPUTER.... GO TO CONTROL PANEL, THEN DEVICE MANAGER. DOUBLE CLICK UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS CONTROLLERS. IF ANY OF THEM ARENT WORKING PROPERLY THERE WILL BE A YELLOW TRIANGLE WITH AN EXCLAMTION POINT BESIDE THE UNFUNCTIONING USB. IF IT IS NOT FUNCTIONING YOU WILL HAVE TO UPDATE THE DRIVER. IF YOUR PORTS, DRIVERS ETC DONT SHOW THE YELLOW TRIANGLE, THEY ARE WORKING. TRY PLUGGING THE PHONE INTO A DIFFERENT PORT UNTIL YOU FIND ONE THAT WILL ACCEPT IT. I HAVE A LAPTOP AND MY PHONE ISNT RECOGNIZED IN THE SAME USB PORT (ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE COMPUTER) THAT I USE FOR MY PRINTER. I USE A DIFFERENT PORT FOR MY CELL PHONE. IF YOUR COMPUTER IS OLDER , THE USB PORT MAY NOT BE HIGH SPEED. OLDER COMPUTERS HAVE USB PORTS WITH A SPEED OF 1x OR A MIX OF PORTS WITH 1x AND 2.O (2.0 IS HIGHSPEED 1x IS NOT). I HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
