SOURCE: Cannot find bios for sony vaio PCG-K23

If you can't find it, how do you know it exists? I don't see it on the Sony Website
If you were instructed by Tech Support to upgrade the BIOS, then they should have provided information on how to obtain it.

I have a sony viao pcg-k23, when i open and power it on it has white displayed on screen white horizontal lines. what must be the problem? thanks

This is most likely an LCD screen fault. You could check the LVDS cable that connects the motherboard to the screen also.

Fan noisy

Fan is placed in notebook so as to expel the heat produced in the laptop. Try using your laptop in a cool sorrounding, so that the fan speed will be reduced. Try to clean the laptop. If your not sure how to open the laptop and clean, give to a near by technician and get it cleaned. Thank You.

Want to upgrade ram to 2gb & replace battery on my sonyvaiopcgk23

Per Crucial.com this system doesn't support 2 - 1 GB memory modules. (I've never been given incorrect information from the Crucial advisor)

1 GB RAM (Pair of 512Mb Modules) is the maximum
