You can try CTRL CTRL instead of scroll-lock. it was working for me. It is not mentioned in the manual.

The solution given by oslonch seem to ignore the fact that the problem is related to the KVM switch which wired up to recognise the scrol lock buton only. Perhaps the answer will be to find out what code is generated by the scrol lock key and sending to the system as an acii extended code?

Sorry, I don't think that there are any hotkeys to replace the scroll lock on your wireless keyboard/mouse combo. In modern GUI environments, scrolling is usually accomplished using means such as scrollbars or scroll wheels. (i.e. the wheel on your mouse) Many keyboards as well as programs no longer even support use of this key on the keyboard as Scroll lock has fallen into such extremely infrequent usage. If your mouse as a scroll wheel I would suggest just using that. Or click on the scroll bar on the side of your screen and drag the bar up and down to view the rest of the page you are trying to view. Hope that this was helpful.

the problem is that most Wireless Keyboard and Mice combos use Composite USB, the KVM however is expecting one signal on each entry port (one for mouse, and one for Keyboard).

replace yoru wireless Combo for a standard Keyboard and Mouse to make this work.

A work around would be using a MS Wireless Mouse and a different brand of Wireless Keyboard using both Wireless receivers and plug them into different ports on the KVM

Hi . .. I want to use this KVM switch to connect

The GCS632U has keyboard and mouse emulation that may not work with all wireless combos. If your wireless combo is going to work the single USB connection would need to go into the keyboard port as that is the only port that will recognize the hot key switching commands. If the wireless combo still has problems then try using a USB wired keyboard to ensure the GCS632U is working correctly.

IOGEAR KVM gcs632U. Set up notes that to "toggle" between PCs you press SCROLL LOCK twice. My keyboard has no SCROLL LOCK so to change you are supposed to press NUM LOCK + "-"...release "-" after 1...

OK well usually in the "Setup" you can "Assign" whatever keys you need, so can't you change the keys used to what you have? ALL Keyboards have scroll lock, it is probably just "Hidden" for instance I found one accessed via pressing a Blue Fn Key and then F12. Look carefully for "Other: small writing on keys.

Not working

Make sure your keyboard and mouse are plugged into the right USB ports on the switch. If you plug the keyboard into the mouse USB port the hotkeys will not work! The USB ports on the KVM switch are labeled under each port, with a mouse and keyboard icon respectively. From the Quick Start Guide/Manual: The Numlock hotkeys are listed as:
[Num Lock]+[-] [1] Switches to output 1
[Num Lock]+[-] [2] Switches to output 2
[Numlock]+[-] [A] Auto-scans and chooses which ever port is connected.
Alternatively: Tap [Scroll Lock] twice to automatically switch between ports.
Note: I've never been able to get the Numlock key combinations to work correctly. I always just use double-tap [Scroll Lock] trick to switch.
If you get stuck with your scroll-lock and Alpha lock lights flashing, just hit [Esc] to fix it.

Hotkey mode

This just worked for me. Using your PC keyboard, boot up to the PC first and then power up your mac. Hit the scroll lock twice and IMMEDIATELY hit enter. You have to go fast- click-click-click with no hesitation and it works great. I still can't toggle the hot keys to set up my mac keyboard, which I prefer using, but I'm assuming it takes the "right" timing on the keys. I'll keep trying.

Good luck!
