Question about Epson Stylus Multifunction Inkjet Printer/ Copier/ Scanner

I get an error message that won't go away. The printer tells me to turn off the printer, then press on. I do that but the error message remains.

Hi,
You should try to unplug the printer and try unisntalling all instances of your printer and reinstalling it.Its probably just a driver problem.
Check it out and get back to me if it doesnt work.

Check ink level message won't go away


Let's try turning off the Ink Check
Press the Online Button to display the Main Menu>>Use the left or right arrows to navigate to "System Setup" then press the down arrow>>Navigate to "Stop Ink Check" then press the down arrow>>Navigate trough all colors n and press ok.

Epson cx3200 printer has printing problem


Hello cockie ,

You can diagnose most problems by checking the control panel LED's for ink out, paper-out or copier problem.
If a problem occurs while you're printing, you'll see an error message in the progress window on your computer.
It may also be helpful to try running a printer nozzle check.

See the following message problems and solutions:

Error Message Probable Cause No color or black ink cartridge - - >
Press the Color Copy button to install a new ink cartridge.
The indicated cartridge is not installed or it is installed incorrectly. Color or black ink out - - >
Press the Color Copy button to begin replacing the ink cartridge.
The indicated cartridge is out of ink Ink cartridge error - - >
Press the Color Copy button to begin replacing the ink cartridge.
There is something wrong with the ink cartridge. Paper jam or misfeed - - >
Press the Color Copy button and clear the paper jam by hand if necessary.
Paper is jammed. Press the Color Copy button to clear the jam.

HP Photosmart C4140 error message won't go away Remove and check color cartridge. I have done this and unplugged, checked both color and black cartridges...won't go away.


hey, sometimes there are faulty cartridges. i use to got some brand new and original from the shop and not working.. so try it with some old cartridge if you have.. you can also try to remove the cartridge and clean/wipe the contacts on the cartridge side and on the printer side (turn of the printer for safety)

I've changed the ink cartidges but the black and color ink lights remain on and it won't print. I think the E2 error message is on.


This hapens when refilled cartridges are installed in the printer. To rectify the problem, look for the 'Resume button' normally black with a red circle around an arrow head pointing towards you. With the printer powered on, press and hold this button down for about 10 seconds. The error code will usually clear and the printer will print but the orange lights will still flash.

My Canon Pixma MX340 printer keeps telling me that there is a document in the ADF and won't print. There is no paper anywhere and none has been stuck in the ADF but the message remains. I have tried...


Solution: Setting the MX340 back to default settings

Instructions to change the machine back to its default settings.

  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.

  2. Press the Menu button repeatedly until Device settings appears.

  3. Use the l_mark_s.gifr_mark_s.gif button to select Reset setting , then press the OK button.


  4. Use the l_mark_s.gifr_mark_s.gif button to select one of the following, then press the OK button.

    Telephone no. data: Reverts the telephone number settings to default. Setting data: Reverts the machine settings other than the telephone number settings, such as the page size, media type, and other settings, to default. All data: Reverts both the machine and telephone number settings to default.
  5. Use the l_mark_s.gifr_mark_s.gif button to select Yes on the confirmation screen, then press the OK button.

What does the message "recommend


Hello,
the message means that your printer tells you to replace you cartridge.
you can press the "ok" buton fot at least 10 seconds and I belive that the error will go away.

SolutionFollow the steps below to resolve the issue. Step one: Wait for the current task to complete
  1. This message appears while the unit performs a task. If a task was aborted while in progress, this message will remain on the display.
  2. Press Cancel or Stop to clear the message.
  3. If the error does not go away, proceed to the next step.
Step two: Reset the unit
  1. While the unit is on, remove the power cord from the rear of the unit AND the wall outlet.
  2. After one minute, reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet and the unit.
  3. If the unit does not turn on, press the On button.
  4. If the error does not go away, proceed to the next step
    If this doesn´t work, release all cartridges, and turn on. After that put the cartridge on the printer one by one. Regards.

Solution
  1. Remove and then reinsert the cartridge indicated in the error message.
  2. If the error is still displayed, clean the contacts. Click here to see how.
  3. If the error message is Error. Remove and Check Black or Photo Cartridge , the following steps may help:
    1. Remove both cartridges, lower the latches, and close the printer access door.
    2. Turn off the unit by pressing the On button on the front panel. Wait for the printer to completely shut down.
    3. Turn the printer back on by pressing the On button.
    4. When the message display reads Insert Print Cartridges , open the access door and replace the cartridges.
  4. If neither of the steps above fixed the problem, either the cartridge or the printer is faulty.5. Replace Cartridge.Please rate my response!!!Thanks,SF
