Dear Sir,
Which operating system are you using if you are using XP then Right click on computer - left click on properties - click on the hardware tab - click on the device manager - Right click the fingerprint and uninstall it...Please remember your password or remove your password before you do it...If it is Vista click on start - just about start we have start search type in Device Manager and click on Device manager and right click the finger print reader and uninstall it....When the system starts it will automatically detect the driver and install it and the problem will be resolved...

Does Hiren's 15.6 erase fingerprint lock?

No it doesn't.
If you press Ctrl - Alt -Del you maybe able to get a password login box, and if you are lucky the administrator password may not be set and you can just press Enter.
If these solution do not work the the onlt option is to re-install Windows or install Linux such as Ubuntu.

My acer aspire one notebook won't boot up.

Is the new cord/charger/transformer the EXACT same power specs? When your "dog ate your charger", it may have shorted out something in the Laptop? Was it plugged it when your dog ate it?

I have HP pavilion laptop. When I reopen the laptop after sleep mode it shows user (administrator) locked. I give the user password, but it's not working. It's showing password incorrect. Is any one there...

This document pertains to the HP TouchSmart tm2-1000 Notebook PC series.

The fingerprint reader login window is not detected when the notebook resumes from a Standby, Hibernate, or powered off state. Additionally, a password cannot be entered because the flashing login window defaults the cursor to the start of the entry field.

Download and Install Fingerprint Reader Driver

To resolve this issue, download and install the latest Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 .

Any use?

Having trouble with fingerprint reader, need to find manual to help me work out problem

Go to this location, select the language that better suits your needs (English is the default language) and your operating system. After that, you'll be offered lots of drivers for your notebook. Also, on the left side of that page, you'll find 'Manuals', under 'Resources to my selected product', which will guide you to download the user manual for your operating system.
Please, let me know if you need further informations.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.

Forgot login password & fingerprint swipe isn't working

There are a lot of Windows password revealers and crackers available, but I’ve found that Windows Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.:
it not only supports XP, 2000, and NT, I have personally tested it with Vista Home Premium and Ultimate. It works perfectly to reset any local user account to a blank password
You can use the ISO to burn a boot CD. Follow these instructions:
1. Download ISO file from http://www.windowspasswordsrecovery.com Windows Password Recovery Tool
2. Burn to a CD using a CD burning tool such as Nero or Roxio or MagicISO
3. Insert CD into drive and reboot.
4. You may have to select an option in the BIOS to get the computer to boot from the CD.
Booting up and clearing a password takes a minute or two works like a charm.

Sleep problem

I've seen this on many Dell machines, and I've found no real fix for this. It seems that this function either works or it doesn't. You can do a restore back to a point that you remember it working properly, but eventually it will start doing it again. I've decided that this is a glitch with Dell's systems. You can also do a bios update from Dell's support site, sometimes this helps with the little glitch they pick up.

Forgot my Verisoft Logon Password

Hi,

Not sure if you got this sorted, but all i did as i couldn't remember my pasword and could only login using fingerprint

go to
Start
type 'CMD'
Right Click and select run as administrator
In the command window type NET USER XXXXX welcome01

Where XXXXXX is your user Name
This will force the change of password, and doesnt mess with Verisoft. Now to confirm it's worked go to

Start
Control Panel
Users
Select Change password
in old password type 'welcome01'
in new type which ever you require as your password, it will accept the change.

This worked for me 100%

Cheers
Alan
