The simplest solution is to buy a card reader for your particular memory card (SD, Xd, etc). The card reader will have a slot for your memory card and a plug for your computer's USB port. This does require removing the memory card from your camera and inserting it into the card reader. Some computers have card readers built into them already, but beware that some older computers will not accept an SD card over 1 or 2 GB memory size. The card reader will solve this problem.

Lost disc that came with my new A1455 camera and installed new computer. can not download pictures. Is there a download available or do I need a new disc

You can download the original camera driver from its own web page.
Additionally ,the easiest way of downloading your picture is thru a USB CARD Reader unless your PC do not have "card reader ",.
And take off the memory card of the camera and by using USB or built-in reader you can download all pictures..
Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up for me to continue for Helping out the Community :)

How do i transfer pictures from my olympus x-960 camera to my windows7 laptop

Usually the camera is supposed to come with an installation disc. Run this disc on your PC and after running it use the data cable which came with the camera and connect it to the pc once this is done the PC should recognise the camera and give you directions on how to copy the pictures. On the other hand if no disc came with the device and the camera is not a plug and play unit you can visit the canon website to download a driver for the unit.
hope this solution has been helpful?

Installed the disc on my computer for my kodak easy share C813 digital camera when I purchased it . I somehow have lost this installation on my computer & I cannot find the disc to reinstall it .

Go to the following Kodak site and click "download now for free"

http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=130&CID=go&idhbx=easysharesw&pq-locale=en_GB&_requestid=4162

Install the software then reboot the PC. Once rebooted plug in your camera to your PC then switch on the camera. The Kodak EasyShare application will see you camera and then go though an initial setup for your specific camera. Just accept all the default options and then when this is finished the software will download all your camera contents to a folder on your PC. You then select SAVE and then you can wipe al the pictures from your camera and then unplug it and switch it off ready to take more pictures. Each time you plug in the camera to the PC in future the download sequence will automatically start for you. Read the help file with the application and you can do more things with it.

Hey. I was just wondering if you know how to get the pictures off my Kodak digital camera without the installer disc? As I can not find the disc. I really need the pictures today aswell. Please could...

If you have the pictures in a SD/MMC memory, just turn off camera and remove it , then you put the memory in a compatible reader connected to your PC; but if you have pictures at the internal memory of camera, you'll have to use Kodak EasyShare software to transfer pictures from your camera with USB cable, it can be downloaded from the following link:

I can't take picture even couldn't find the camera on my pc dell 32-bit

Hello -- this could be a few things.
1 Have you installed the driver from the Camera disc/rom (assuming it came with one)
2 Leave camera OFF - connect the USB , open the photo application. Turn camera on - this should create a software connection.
If the message comes up -- "install driver" then install the disc -
If you don't have a disc , then go into (www.google.co.uk) and try a search using the Camera make & model number -- like --- Nikon N74 driver or userguide -- see what comes up.

MY EVISION CAMERA WILL NOT LET ME DOWNLOAD PICTURES ON MY COMPUTER

You will probably need to install the camera software before you can download pictures. The cameras often come with an installation disc. If it won't let you install the software, your computer probably isn't compatible with that disc (I hope this isn't true for you). Good luck! Der strom

Can't download pictures from my camera to computer with windows xp. Manual says that a new removable disc icon should appear in my computer but it doesn't.

In order to download or view pictures stored in your camera to your PC, you have to install the drivers. Follow these steps

1- Use CD which came with your camera, and install the drivers for your camera. If you do not have the CD, You need to go to the pentex and download the drivers for your camera and operating system.

2- After installing the drivers, connect your camera, follow the screen to install the drivers. When it says ready, the icon will show up when you click start, then computer .
Now you can download, copy or view the pictures stored in your camera.

GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check this website for updated drivers.

http://www.opendrivers.com/freedownload/247962/praktica-dcz-3.2s-digital-camera-driver-download.html

If the problem still exists, turn off you computer, connect the camera and restart the computer.

The operating system may install kind of a generic driver to allow you to access the camera a a simpkle 'mass storage device.'
If it finds and installs drivers, the camera will appear as a 'removable disc drive' that you can access as any other drive although you may have to open nested folders to see your pictures.
