Sharp 27L-S100 TV - no tuner video/sound - direct...

Probably due to a power surge/spike the EEPROM's data became corrupted
so enter service menu (Electronic Servicing & Tehnology Magazine
Issue:June 98,page 26) and change parameter in EEPROM from 30 (or what
ever it is) to about 26 then shut tv off,voila audio restored.
I resetted the original EEPROM back to factory default values while
still in chassis.

Entering Service mode in Sharp tv's:

press volume up and channel up buttons at once then plug the set into
the ac outlet.The tv comes on and enters the service mode.To exit this
mode,depress the power button.
Once in the service mode,press the channel up/down buttons on the
remote control or the set to select the register you wish to adjust
the data.

Resetting Sharp tv's EEPROM values to factory values:

While in service mode press the channel up & down buttons for more
than 2 seconds
