Question about Logitech G15 Keyboard

Four keys not working on gaming keyboard

Hi, We've only had this Logitech keyboard a little over a year and one column of keys (1, Q, A and Z) quit working. Sometimes if we hit them with the palm of the hand, they work for just a while. Today removed keys and dusted off lint. Never have spilled anything on them. Do you think it is a circuitry problem and if so is there a way to fix it? Really want to keep this model (discontinued) but can't find it even refurbished anywhere, not even eBay - only Italian versions.

G15 (model 967559-0403

Thank you,
Cindy

Mine is a MX5000 but I have a simular problem with the 9,6,3,del row on the nummeric path. Opened up but the 2 layer sheets are so thin that I can't fix the linked bottom sheet row that is the common circuit for these keys. Even with modification wire it is nearly impossible. I have to buy new one...

I had this prblem before, bought a new one thinking it was broken. Two days after I got it i found a forum post from someone with this prblem too and a solution they had was this;

to uninstall all the logitech software from the computer and then unplug the keyboard from the USB and then uninstalling the keyboard frm Device Manager. shutdwn, plug the USB back in and then startup again.

I tried it and it worked ! I'd just bought a new one for nothing :s

Nope, there's nothing you can do but replace the keyboard or find a new favourite.

Sorry for the bad news.

My ex100 shift key isnt working]

Hi Mark...is it only one of the [SHIFT] keys that is non-operational? If so, please see the instructions I've posted for a similar problem:Number 1 appears to be stuck

It's quite likely this solution will fix your problem as well, but if not, please let me know and we can try a few other solutions.

Thanks,
Mikeal

Keyboard quit working

Hi!
That was good that it has work for about two years.
Maybe it requires for replacement.
Because if you had check all the ports of your system and doesn't work, its old enough. Or you might look for a technician to provide necessary solution.

Function keys don't work anymore

I would first reinstall any software/drivers that came with the device. You should also try contacting Logitech Technical Support (+1 646-454-3200). I've dealt with them recently and they were very helpful, even going so far as to replace my device completely at no charge when the support rep could not fix the issue I had.

The key board has lost its connection, please help. we hve tryed new batterys. the mouse still works.

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like you"ve lost the connection between your keyboard and reciever, that little angled piece with a button you press and lights up. First double check connection on your computer for this reciever, Then double check intsatlation of batteries in keyboard. NOW, press button on reciever, now press button under mouse and wait 20 seconds now press button on reciever then press button under keyboard. This should do it.

Trackball stops communicating with PC

Hi, logitech mice quite often have an 'auto power off' after a period of time. Instead of unplugging and plugging it back in, try clicking one of the mouse keys, give id 1-2 seconds and try it again.

Keyboard does not work

You don't need to install any software updates. Just do the following:

[Ctrl]-[Alt]-[F12] (must use the left [Ctrl]-[Alt] keys, not the right)
Push the Connect button beneath the keyboard, then the Connect button on the USB Receiver, then the [Esc] key on the keyboard.

This will unlock the security encryption on the keyboard. You may need to reconnect the mouse afterward too.
