Question about Brother HL 5150D Laser Printer
I got this printer from a friend of mine without toner and I haven't get one yet because every time I turn it on, it made a terrible noise. I found out that two of the small "wheels" of what is called "duplex tray" part (according to the manual) are broken. I took out the broken wheels and put back the duplex tray and now it doesn't make the sound; however I assume it won't work without those wheels. I looked on line to get a duplex tray but didn't find one. Does anybody know where to get one? or does anybody know if the printer will work without the "duplex tray" system working properly? I don't want to buy a toner if the printer won't work.
You can purchase it from Brother and the part number is LJ7661001
DX FEED ASSY. The small "wheels" can also be purchased if you don't want to buy the whole unit, but I am not sure which ones you are talking about as there are several in the unit. The printer may print fine as long as you don't print Duplex.
