Meyer Snow Plow. When I press right it goes left same if I press left it goes left. Went up when pressed up but won't go down at all.

The switches, solenoids and relays all need testing. Early October was the best time to get it serviced. Take it into your nearest hitch / plow place.

check for air in cylinder may have to bleed the line and cylinder

My plow went up it was jerking and did it in steps , but , it got there . Now , it onlyjerks when i try to angle it right or left or up . I filled the fluid ... It sounds like a faulty valve. Some valves use O-rings to seal between ports and they may have failed. I would check the lines for trapped air first.

Meyers plow blade doesn't go right

I had the same problem with my 7'6" with an e47 power unit the plow would angle left not up or right. I had to replace Meyer (B) Solenoid Valve Assembly, Red Wire . If you go to the meyers products website they have a troubleshooting chart that is extremely helpful . I found parts are alot cheaper through amazon.

I changed the hoses on my western sonw plow today , I filled the hydralic fluid and bled the cylinders. The blade goes up and downm angles to the right but won't angle back to the left.

bleed the ram for that as well

This is a control valve problem. From you comment, it is
clear that the control valve flows to one direction only.
Please check the control valve of the snow plow that
execute the angle to right or angle to left. Also check
the pipelines before and after the valve. It must have a
free flow of the fluid.

Wiring for western plow joystick

My western snow plow will not go up or left or right with joystick. I can use a screw driver and make contact on the silanoid and then move the cables with the joy stick and then it will work. I have relaced selinoid and contacts. any ideas? Stomped

IVE NEVER WORKED ON A SNOWPLOW BUT NOONE ELSE IS OFFERING ANY HELP. IT SOUNDS LIKE FLUID IS LEAKING BY THE VALVE AND PRESSURIZING THE LEFT SIDE ALL THE TIME. IT ALSO COULD BE YOUR NO-SPILL COUPLERS CLOGGED OR NOT OPENING FULLY PREVENTING FLOW OF FLUID ON THE LEFT SIDE. GOOD LUCK. JODY
