I didn't think there were any software updates for the 6085. bring it to your service provider or nokia, or call nokia.

Hi, I was trying to update the Nokia E71's software (300...). At the last second, Software Updater said USB is disconnected and asked me to try again. Actually USB was still connected. I removed...

the battery need not be removed . the problem might have been due to slight voltage fluctuation on line . The system should be flashed now via hardware reset , for which ull have to giv it to an authorized repair centre for sure . The flashing software and softwares to be installed and all cables are not available fr others.

Nokia 6085 needs to be unlocked

i) use the code 12345

ii) if this doesnt solve, perform firmware update  by visiting "http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/NokiaSoftwareUpdaterSetup_en.exe"---> this will download a software, u have to install it, run the prog, follow onscreen instructions,  bios or firmware will be updated(make sure u already have Nokia PC suite installed, Connected to internet........this is an online update....)

here when we do online firmware update or bios update all the passwords will be lost...........

Thanking you

Problem connecting to answer phone

Yes it seems your firmware (software) became corrupt. You should first try a master reset. If that doesnt work, go to the Nokia website and do the software update, flash your phone. Worst case, you have to go to a nokia service center and they will flash it for you right on the spot. If you need more help, just goto my profile and im sure we can help you.
