Question about Dell Dimension 4300 PC Desktop
Hello all !! please help im trying to add memory to my dell dim,4300 desktop, but when i adding card a and b lights up amber on the th back of pc along with annoying beeps.i tried a couple diffrent ways but still same beeping and lights.i had 256mb memory installed, and trying to install 2 samsung pc133r-333-542-b2 cards that were purchased from ebay, but im wondering if they are bad modules or wrong all together for my system.any help will be great! thanks in advance
Hmmm...im not sure that u need a bios update. If the bios cant recognize them it should show the size of your old stick. I think by the descripstion you giving here, that the sticks you bough are bad, you can either take them to a pc-store and have them tested or download a program called MEMTEST and run and test them yourself.
My guess is that you bought bad sticks M8
