Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3xx Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Just received a new Motorola Razr V3xx and can't get it to connect to my new BlueAnt Supertooth 3. The S3 will connect to my HTC Kaiser Tilt. Turning Bluetooth on and using the "ADD Audio Device" option, it finds the BlueAnt ST3 but will not prompt for the passcode. The Bluetooth icon blinks on the phone.

Code is 0000 make sure you press the green button to turn on the bluetooth light on the Blue Ant, while pairing AND when you enter the code(don't hold it down, just make sure it's on before you finish entering it).

How do you pair an iPhone with the blueAnt st3?

Step 1: Activate Pairing Mode on the Supertooth 3

Make sure the Supertooth 3 is turned off.
You can tell if the Supertooth 3 is on or off by looking at the light on the front. If the light is on or flashing, then the Supertooth 3 is on: turn it off by holding down the Multi-Function button (the green button) for about 5 seconds, until you hear the voice announce that the Supertooth 3 is powering down.
With the Supertooth 3 off, hold down the Multi-Function button for about 6 seconds, until the light on the front of the unit starts flashing red and blue.
The Supertooth 3 will now prompt you to select your language: press the Multi-Function button when you hear your language spoken.
The Supertooth 3 is now in pairing mode.

Step 2: Apple iPhone

Now you need to use your iPhone to search for Bluetooth devices:

Select Settings.
Select General.
Select Bluetooth.
Wait for your phone to search for devices, then select your BlueAnt device from the list.
If you are prompted for a PIN, enter 0000 (four zeros).
Select Connect.

Your BlueAnt device is now paired.

How do I pair it to my droid two

Hi Amygreb4037

According to BlueAnt this is the correct procedure:

Firstly:

Then on your droid two

Go to the system menu and enable Bluetooth Go to your phone's Bluetooth menu. Select Add New Device. Wait for your phone to search for devices, then select your BlueAnt device from the list. If you are prompted for a PIN, enter 0000 (four zeros). If you are prompted to connect to the device, select Yes or Connect.

The two should then be paired and working.

More information can be found on BlueAnts website:

I hope this helps.

Cant get blueant headset to pair mode

I have the BlueAnt Supertooth 3 Voice ... you can find the manual at: http://www.blueant.com.au/manuals/s3/S3_manual.pdf. This needs you to hold the On button for 6 seconds (from Off), but the earlier version Supertooth needed you to press Off while turning it on I think. Perhaps the website can give you your required manual to help with your particular model. Good luck. The password for both models was 0000 (4 zeros).

Motorola V3xx I-mode

Under the settings for usb connection type change the setting to memory card connection. This is subject to having a memory card (Micro sd) installed. Otherwise you may have to install motorola phone software into your computer and use this to update files on your phone.
