I have a Dell 966 All In One InkJet Printer and around the end of January it stop printing any documents. It can still scan pictures and transfer to my computer, so I know the connect is there. Have anybody heard of this happening?
1. Try to print a test page in the Printer Properties window. If it prints ok, then maybe Word is the problem. You may have specified some page parameter (e.g. margins, length, etc.) that was out of range.

problem is the printer part of your device can't usually print to the edge (normally a 5mm boarder) so the copier part automatically reduces slightly to fit the whole page in! three may be a setting to turn off all reduction but bear in mind the edges of the original will be lost.
Step 0: Install your printer and print testpage (ensure that printer is connected to device)Step 1. Place your paper on flatbed on your printer.
Step 2: On your printer, look for the Menu button then scroll using the scroll bar and select scan.
Step 3: Once scan is chosen, press check button (found in the center)
Step 4: Press Start button.
It will be saved on your PC (usually in My Documents)
Please check if your Colour Ink Cartridge is not emply. If their's ink in the cartridge then try to service your printer through the Print Preferences. Your Colour Cartridge Nozzels could have been blocked thats why your printer is unable to print in Colour.
In case if both the above doesn't work then check in the Print Preferences that you should not have saved the option of PRINT DOCUMENT IN BLACK ONLY. hope this helps , AJ
GG88 your need to lubricate carrier bar inside printer rub your finger along the length of the bar if if feels dry apply two to three drops of 3in 1 oil to the bar with power off after lubricating the bar turn back on and happy printing
