Hi. The plumbers were trying to shut off the power but instead one electrified the other 5 times. They were just turning off and on the circuit breaker and the refrigerator doesn't work. We checked the dials, good. We plugged it in tight, good. Plug in to another outlet, good. The lights work inside, good. But in the back it seems to make a small humming noise. It does not get things cool and we feel a little wind. It doesnt hum like it used to. Now, In the freezer side it is making frost.
Can it be the compressor or a fuse that blew out in the unit? help!
This fridge could be on defrost but more than likely it needs to stay unpluged in for about 1 to 2 hours so the compressor can cool off.
if it were in defrost the timer will keep it off for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Re: Frigidaire FRS2345AB9 Not Getting Cold Enough
Check the fan in the freezer side to make sure it is running. If the fan is running and you have frost, then you have a defrost problem, Heater is not coming on to melt ice. If fan is not running replace fan.

From my understanding you would like to know what an "H1" fault code stands for inside of your Frigidaire refrigerator. I was unable to locate an "H1" instead I found an "HI". "HI" stands for high temperature inside the freezer compartment. I would check to make sure you are still getting cold air inside of your freezer. If not you may want to change the temperature on the inside do remember any temperature changes take 24-36 hours to stabilize. If this is not the issue you may want to reset your refrigerator and to do that you can disconnect the power cord for roughly ten minutes. If power is restored and you continue to experience issues I would suggest consulting with a professional technician for a diagnosis to be completed. I hope this is helpful information. -Matt
I understand the fan is not running in the freezer portion of your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRT21P5A. I see that the freezer is getting cold but the fan does not circulate the cold air. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Turn the power back on and listen for the fan to circulate the air. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully.
I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS23KF7AB, is so cold that it is freezing liquids inside the refrigerator area. I also see that you have it set on the warmest setting. First, I suggest setting the controls to the factory setting. Secondly, reset your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When power is restored, leave the setting on the factory setting, and give your refrigerator 24 hours to stabilize at the factory setting. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
I understand that your refrigerator has stopped getting cold and you don't hear the compressor running. I would suggest to give the appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power off at the circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. After the 3-5 minutes, bring power back. If you still do not hear the compressor trying to run, I would suggest to either contact the manufacturer or your local authorized technician.
Hi, Change the controls back to normal settings. Make sure the freezer is getting 0 to 5 above. If the freezer is getting cold enough, try and turn the cold control to 1 and see if the refrigerator shuts off. It sounds like the cold control in not working properly and will need to be replaced. NOTE: The freezer temp has to be right temp or the fresh food side will not work proper. I hope this helps. Please let me know if I can assist you further.
Your question is: Your GErefrigerator does not seem to be cooling as before. You turned up the temperature control from 5 to 7 and also the freezer control higher, but it still doesn't seem to be cold enough. You don't want to lose all your food especially in the freezer What can you do? The model number is: TFX22PRX
First, make sure the power is on. Then listen for the compressor motor. If you don't hear it then you have a compressor failure or an electrical failure inside. If you can then look to a bad thermostat. In the mean time get everything into coolers or neighbor"s fridg.
