Where to repair 8mm tape (7208-011/Exe 8205)?

Other than IBM maintenance, has anyone had to have an 8mm tape drive
repaired? We have an IBM 7208-011 external drive that fails to read.
Stange thing, it passes diagnostics perfectly but fails to read any
tape that can be read by any other drive. We therefore need to send
this drive out for service. Can anyone suggest a depot maintenance
site that we can contact regarding this? And, if anyone has had this
service performed, what is the general cost?
