What's to assemble, first of all its a meat grinder, you put the hopper on and insert the grind mechanism which is a shaft that has curled ridges on it, it should lock in, then you need to place the cutting blade on, that looks like four corners, and then either the fine or coase meat grinding wheel with the small or large holes in it, then the plastic part that holds it all together and tighten down, just make sure to wash and clean it right away, also dry the pieces, hot soapy water, they are usually carbon steel and can rust, hope this helps

There is a small black washer(?) and I do not know where to joinm it. I also need to know how much the white plastic tray that sits on the top of the grinder costs and if it is not too expensive I think I will order it.
