Flashing Charging Light on AC Power

When I connect my Laptop to the AC adapter, the charging led flashes quickly and the pc will not power up even if I take the battery out. I have tried 3 different batteries and 2 AC chargers. When I put the original battery in it does not flash but quickly goes from orange to green and when I press the power button all of the LED's go out and nothing happens so I assume the battery is at the end of it's life and there is not enough power to start the system. I think the problem is the power regulator as the system will not work even with the battery taken out and the constant flashing is because there isn't enough power to give a steady charge rate.

My hp laptop don't turn on even the charger is

When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

You may have a DC connector problem:

Symptoms of a broken power jack
1. If you wiggle the power cord or the AC Adapter connector on the back of the laptop, the power LED and battery charge LED start to flicker.
2. Battery will not charge in the laptop.
3. Laptop runs fine off a charged battery.
4. With the AC Adapter connected the laptop appears to be dead.
No power LED or battery charge LED activity.
5. Laptop randomly powers off without any warning.

If your laptop is out of warranty, then you can fix the problem by re-soldering DC-IN jack on the system board. If it

This seems to be a issue with the AC adapter. Its not driving enough power to the laptop and neither charging the laptops battery. Try using a different adapter.

If the problem still exists, Then its to do with the internal power supply setup inside the laptop and probably you need to rip the laptop apart and check the power chipset.

Power indicatoror

From the manual:

"Attach the barrel tip of the AC Charging Adapter to the AC Charging port of the POWER TO GO® and plug the standard two-prong plug into an appropriate, functioning 120 volt AC outlet. The red Battery Status LED indicator will flash, indicating a proper connection has been made and the unit is charging. The green Battery Status LED indicators will gradually light as the charge level rises. The POWER TO GO® must be charged for approximately 11-17 hours prior to first use. All Battery Status LED indicators will be lit solid (the red indicator will stop flashing) when the unit is fully charged.
