I have tried to adjust my temperature and it doesn't seem to change. Is there a secret in the way you press the buttons? Example hold down the set and the "+" buttons at the same time? I seem to have tried everything but the temp will not change. Signed, Reds too cool in FL

Without more details on what you're observing, I can't say for sure what could be wrong. I can just tell you that I had problems with the temperature not controlling properly, and the set temperature seeming to vary on its own. It turned out that one of the 5-wire bundles that plugs into the back of the controller (PCB) was snugly pressed into the pins on the back of the circuit board, which was causing shorts in the control circuits. I inserted a piece of heavy cardboard in between them to ensure separation, and presto, my machine now works correctly again. So before buying parts, I would suggest you examine the control board and wiring for possible problems like this.
You can find manuals out there on the web. When I look for the part the only thing that made sense was the control board in the lower rear of these coolers, and doesn't seam to be adjustable. Then there are the buttons on the top front, but not sure if the stat is serviceable by itself.
