Many new supply lines have a safety valve built in to prevent flooding in case of major malfuction. Floodsaver is one of the brands. They can be identified by a small silver cylinder at the water valve end under your sink. I have found that then valves can close under certain conditions other than a malfunction. Try turning off the supply valve and then very slowly, reopen it. Sometimes, I have had to turn off the water supply valve, disconnect the line to relieve the pressure, reattach and SLOWLY turn the water back on. If this fails, next try the diagnostic procedures here:

No cold water coming into washer

There is a screen in the water inlet valve that gets clogged. Turn off both hot and cold water, take off the cold water line and clean screen out. If screen is clean, set to cold water wash and turn on the washer. You should hear the solenoid hum. If you hum, check the leads to the cold water solenoid. With the washer set on cold and turned on you should read 110VAC across the wires. If you have voltage the solenoid is bad. If no voltage, broken wire or timer problem.

MY GE front loader washer won't fill with water or spin. I hear a hum when I turn it on and it sounds as if it's about to start a cycle but nothing happens.

It sounds as if your water valve is either clogged or the solenoid is stuck and not letting any water in. Here is a checklist of things you should do to help isolate the problem:
1) check to make sure the water is on
2) turn the water off and remove the water lines and verify that both the lines and the screens on the valve are clear of debris, calcium, etc.
3) take the top off the machine where you can actually see the valve, turn the machine on and see if the vavle is the humming noise that you are hearing. If so and no water is coming out then the valve is bad.

Loud humming noise when dishwasher is filling up with water

your model is pretty new. just so you know your warrenty is 1 year parts and labor. 2 years on parts. it should not cost that much money.

there are two components that start before the circulation pump.(wash noise you hear)

first sounds you hear will be the drain pump. usually rattling noises if something is in it but it can make a hum noise if something is jamming the drain propeller up. which is accessible with a T20 torx driver. take the filters out and the mesh filter. and unscrew the screw in the base towards the left. pull out whatever is lodged.

the other humming sound can come from the next component that activates is the watervalve. make sure you dont have a kinked water intake line. otherwise its a bad valve. i have had to change a few of those water valves out already but not for a hum noise on your model. you have a new style water valve. when brands make new parts we get problems fast sometimes..

Machine starts but after one minute it just hums

Something is locking down the aggitator. The motor will burn up if you keep trying to run it while it is unable to turn so please un jam it then try it again.

Washer ax6245wv0 roper washer

Sounds like something in pump.  This is causing motor to hum and not turn.  Motor is going off on thermal overload.  This is why the humming stops.  It may be possible for you to tilt washer back and access pump.  Remove clip on bottom and top and pull pump off motor.  Try and turn pump.  Remove hoses and see if you can see obstruction.
