    I need more info, does the iPod show that it's recharging when docked? Or is there a clicking sound or just absolutely nothing.

The best best is to visit invebo.com and watch their diagnostic video for your dock. There are several versions of internals that fail in different ways. If you enter your serial into the site it emails you the links and resources specific to the hardware build of your dock. If you buy a repair kit from Invebo you can send it back and every purchase comes with insurance that gives access to support and the low-cost top up repair service. I have repaired a lot of docks for a local store using the kit.

No sound from docking station

The most likely cause is a damaged docking connector. However if there was no incident with knocking, wrenching or mistreatment of the dock connector, it may be another cause. If you turned the power off after it had been on a long time and the dock didn't start up again then: 1: If it is charging the ipod but no sound then the sound processor as failed.2.If it isn't charging the ipod then watch the diagnostic video: SounDock Original Check & Diagnostic

Bose sounddock remote and ipod menu functions

Unfortunately I've never seen a universal remote that will control the extra functions of this. If it's the original SoundDock, you can only do: volume, power, play/pause, skip/scan. If this is a SoundDock II or SoundDock Portable, you can only control: volume, power, play/pause, skip/scan, and playlist up/ playlist down. Quite honestly, that's all I need to do on my SoundDock. I can't really read what's on my iPod from where I'm sitting in the first place. It may be possible to use a universal learning remote for this, but you'd have to teach commands from an apple remote as well as the bose remote, and the learning remote (+apple remote) may cost you over 1/3 the cost of the SoundDock. It also may not work perfectly. I hope this helps somewhat.

BOSE SOUNDOCK CONNECTRO BROKE

You can't - the repair needs to be done centrally as the company would be at risk if it sold electrical parts to people who aren't qualified to repair such items. Therefore you need to call Bose and have this repaired, however it's quite a common fault so shouldn't cost too much.

Problem with Ipod Nano 3d generation and Bose Soundock

Try other iPods - if they work with no problems it is a problem with the iPod software, connect this to iTunes to get it updated, and also try a soft reset (hold down menu+center buttons for about ten seconds) if you still get issues, contact Bose.

Bose Sounddock - Speakers have a loud hiss at low song volume

Here is how I fixed the hissing noise in my Soundock;
--Pull the bottom plate off (It is attached by 4 screws)
--There is a green motherboard with 2 ribbonwires. .
--One of the ribbonwires (the one the mounts the ribbon vertically) had loosened up.
--Use a tweezers to pop it back into place and that noise will disappear.

This is a design flaw, as the action of inserting/removing your ipod, coupled with the action of setting your sound dock down will work this ribbon loose.
