Check and make sure the receptacle where it is plugged in has current. Unplug the cable and then plug it back in. You have an Over-ride switch on your unit, try it. If it still does not work you will have a power supply problem.
I own a Fellowes PS 60 shredder.

I advise you NOT to use your shredder if it is causing the cicuit to shut off_it may start a fire!
I have taken many shredders apart and found them so clogged up with shreds of paper and too much oil will turn into paper mud.Be bold and take the top off and clean it out. Unplug the power source and when removing the top , be careful because their will be a short cable connecting the top to the circuit board. Easy to damage.
