HI, I HAVE A SAMSUNG S7330 AND I CANT MAKE ANY CALL IT JUST COMES UP EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. I HAVE FULL SIGNAL BUT THERE IS A PHONE ICON WITH A RED LINE THROUGH IT AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN

Hello, i have seen alot of similar issues with Samsung phones, if your sim does work in another phone, you will need to take the phone in and will either replace that or give you a new sim card.

Hi,
Looks like you have a reception problem on your phone.A possible solution is that you remove the sim card and the battery and try restarting your phone.
2.You can try calling customer care and they might have a solution for you.
3.Finally if nothing works it is definitely a manufacturing defect and it probably needs to be replaced.

    Have you tried putting in someone elses sim card to see if its working.


    1.If another sim card works its definitely a problem with your sim.


    2.if that too doesnt work,you have to take your phone back to your dealer.


    I am lookin out for other possible solutions..will keep you updated.

Try going to the menu, Settings, calls, Voice calls, call baring and press cancel all. That should reset your call baring settings.

    ok, one more thing. Go to menu, settings, network settings, network mode, you shoudl have about 4 options. Try each one and see when the red lines goes away from the phone icon.

It tends to be a problem of software in your phone .

Take to service center to reinstall the software for your phone.

Please try another sim card and also try your simcard on another phone to see if this is a problem with your service instead of the phone.

    Well, possible problems.



    a) The phone has been reported stolen and is blacklisted and wont be able to connect to a network



    b) Assuming the sim cards function fine on another phone there is no signal for the phone, this can be a hardware issue.



    Do you have a error message? No network? no signal? Network failure? Not done?

    Try a master reset, Open menu, then settings and then master reset.

I cant get onto my samsung because my PUK code is blocked and it tells me to call sos but when i say yes nothing happens


Hi,

You will need to look up the phone number of your Network provider. SOS means emergency calls only are available to fire, police ambulance etc... so do not use this even if it does work - unless of course you have an emergency. The PUK code is only available directly from your Network Provider so use google to find their support number and then use another phone to call them. PUK is a personal unblocking key which is actually related to the Sim card and not the actual phone itself. Your Network provider is the only way to gain access to this information.

The good news is the Network provider will give you the PUK for free.


All you need to do is ring your provider (on another phone obviously) and once they have established that you are the owner of the phone they will give you the PUK for free and directions on how to enter it into your phone.

I have a samsung 235 cel phone that is unable to make calls or to get a signal what can i do to solve this matter

First of all which carrier do you have and where do you live?
When a cellphone does not get signal is mostly because of the carrier does not provides service in that area. Another problem can be the antenna on the cell phone . Is the antenna inside or outside the phone?

you're phone needs new software. if you're phone is in warrenty, then go to the shop where that your buyed you're phone. they will know what to do

Hi My cordless phone does not receive or make calls anymore. I have checked and everything seems to be working OK. There is a small icon that appeared on the screen ,like a battery,, and is all black


The battery indicator on the handset tends to be misleading. You may need to replace the battery, or if the phone is under a year old, try charging over night. Simply unplug from the phone jack, leaving base plugged into power.

A red screen and disp;ay sayes download


I never dropped it in the water. it's never been wet. the indicator under the battery is fine. Yet it's happened to my phone as well. The " Red Screen of Death!" I only had emergency service (not common in my area) so I tried powering it off and back on to find better signal. won't turn back on. did all the necessary battery tricks. tapping it into the contacts lightly. still Nothing. just a red screen and the front display "Download".

I'm buying an i-phone tomorrow.
