Do you mean a cr1616 battery? You will need to gently take apart the phone. If you are not good at this or have the proper tools take it to a repair place. I have done this you can order battery from Amazon or ebay. Some ebay sellers include the small tools to replace battery. It might be soldered in but without info on which phone an brand its hard to tell

Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is to unlock your phone to use it any other GSM network. You can get the unlock code through online. I will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.
RM225 is unlockable, sorry there is no unlock codes.
In order to unlock it you will need to contact T-mobile and hope. simply request from T-mobile the unlock code (provided you have had your account in good standing for 3 months, and have added at least 1 refill minutes in any denomination, to your phone)
