Most likely lid switch is bad or drive coupler.push the lid switch down and see if it clicks.if no click then its bad.drive coupler is located between motor and trans.

If large items in the machine create an imbalanced load the machine is designed to switch off...Towels are notorious for doing this because they hold so much water. Jeans don't soak up much water. Wash towels with towels alone and the problem should be reduced....Good luck....Nomess

My whirpool front loader say f02

If I am not mistaken f02 code means that long drain. put into spin and see if the pump turns on if it does check if water is coming out... if not need to check if there is something stuck in the pump blocking the flow for the water

Definetly the lid switch has been knocked out of place or has gone bad.

Whirpool Washer LSQ9500LQ0 Won't Spin or Drain

Your belt assessment sounds correct on the dryer problem.
If you can, restore the lid switch connections, and operate the switch during what should be spin. You should be able to hear a relay or solenoid clicking off and on with the switch.

Water Won't Drain from Washing Machine

Hello phylislw61,
If you had an incident where a pillow broke and feathers where dispersed throughout the washer..then there is a good chance that teh drain fiilter screen, pump or hose feeding the pump is clogged. I would verify that the filter is free from anything that would limit water flow from getting to the pump.. then if the problem is still there.. examine the pump itself to make sure it isn't clogged...
If you or someone in your family is reasonably handy, here is a link to your washing machines exploded view and parts and this should provide sufficient information for how to access the pump and associated hoses etc that feed into and out of it for cleaning..
If you are having problems after you verify the lines are free of restriction, feel free to contact me and I will try to assist you in solving your problem.. Here is the link..

Whirpool top load washer

things to check, to narrow it down:
  • is the timer stopping prematurely? (timer problem)

  • is the machine draining the water as fast as usual? (water pump problem or something blocking water flow)

  • is it spinning as fast as usual? (clutch problem)
if you already checked this and think it is a different problem then let me know, i will help you figure it out.

GE Harmony Washer, Model: WpGT9360pl

John, there is debris of some sort inside your drain pump restricting or impeding the flow of water. Since it still has water in the tub, the computer won't allow the unit to activate high speed spin. The blockage will have to removed before the unit can be operated again. You'll have to pull the back cover off the machine to access the pump. When you remove the hoses, there will be a flood of water... If at all possible, move the washer outside to do this. If you can't move it, figure out a way to clamp off (pinch) the intake hose tightly. I've used 2 small open end wrenches and a pair of vice-grips before. Take the 2 wrenches and pinch the hose, then secure them tightly in place with the vice-grips. This'll get it going again. BTW, your washer has no belts... all electronic drive.
