May be the primary control if you already replaced the photocell. Make sure the photocell is in direct line of sight with the flame.

The Goodman Heater was installed in 2004. Thermostat set at 75F, the fan that blows CO2 out was on for about 1 minute, then I could hear the sound of the gas blowing into the furnace, but the ignitor...

Problem: Your furnace will not ignite the gas to produce heat for your home. When a furnace has a bad ignitor what I see most of the time is the following sequence of operation:

1. Thermostat calls for heat. 2. Draft inducer motor starts. 3. Pressure switch attached by a small plastic or rubber tube senses the negative pressure produced by the draft inducer and closes. 4. Draft inducer runs for 30 seconds to a minute before you hear a gas hissing sound. The ignitor did not glow, the flame sensor (a small metal probe about 1/8" in diameter, with a white porcelain base) does not sense the flame, so after 8 to 10 seconds the hissing sounds stops with no ignition of gas to heat your home. Your furnace shuts down and goes into a lock out condition until you turn your power switch back off and on again. Then the sequence starts all over again with no ignition of the gas. Solution:You probably need to purchase and install a new ignitor. I would suggest that you inspect your ignitor closely for cracks. Make sure you do not touch the ignitor with your bare hands. If you do not visually see a crack, then you could have a furnace control board problem or a limit, rollout switch problem. The furnace's control board might not be supplying the voltage to the ignitor. If your furnace lights and the gas stays on for 8 to 10 seconds, then shuts right back off, then you need to clean your flame sensor with light sand paper or steel wool. You might need a new flame sensor, but most of the time they can be cleaned an will work well after cleaning.

30 yr. old honeywell thermostat would not shut off

Try removing the front cover and visually inspecting the metal coil. If there's a lot of dust you will need to blow it off. It could just be that the coil is packed and isn't registering temperature properly.

Ac problem

Turn the thermostat off to see if the unit turns off. If it
does than you must have had a call for heating or cooling.

Put into heating mode let unit turn on, lower the setpoint and unit should turn off. If unit is not heating
than you have a problem with the outdoor unit.

Putinto cooling mode, turn thermostat all the way down, let unit start turn thermostat all the way up
if unit shuts off, unit is operating properly

Rudd Gas Furnice will not stay lite. I have tried by passing the thermostat and it still goes the same thing. I will run for about 30 seconds then shuts off the gas. It will relite after about 2 minutes...

This usually caused by a dirty flame sensor. This is typically a small round rod with a ceramic base. the rod will be mounted directly in front of one of the burners with the rod in the flame. To clean it....
  1. Turn off power to the furnace.
  2. Remove the flame sensor.
  3. Clean the rod with steel wool ( never use sandpaper! )
  4. Remount the sensor.
  5. Turn the power back on.
  6. Check operation of furnace.
This is usually all it takes to fix it.

Reddy heater 110btu kerosene starts and shuts off?

I would say the thermostat is bad after reading your problem over several times. There is no reason to suspect a wiring problem, and I strongly suggest you don't bypass anything! A fire or explosion could result. Replace the thermostat as a probable cause.

The heater will not ignite properly and the heater will not shut off

Judging by your pics (helpful, by the way) you have a high limit wired into your thermostat wire. Try disconnecting that wire nut connection in front of your valve and hooking the thermostat straight to the top and bottom posts on the valve (eliminating the high limit). If it runs fine, either the connection was poor or your high limit wire is pinched.
