Question about Saeco Vienna Espresso Machine
I have a Saeco Vienna Deluxe that grinds the beans, but on occasiona no water comes out to make the coffee. The steam wand works just fine, and we have run the cleaning solution through it recently. A few days later, it will make coffee perfectly and for a week it will be fine. Then one day, it suddenly won't dispense the water to make the coffee again. We let it "rest" for a few days and then it works again. What is wrong and how do we fix it? I need detailed instructions, as the instruction manual and Saeco customer service personnel haven't provided me instructions about how to fix this particular problem.
I just had this problem. I took apart the brew chamber and cleaned under the screens and everything else I could get to along the path of the water. These areas were completely filled with gum residue and solids. I'm guessing that when they dry out, the water can pass through for a little bit. After a cup or two, they go back to blocking off the water flow.
