I hear a buzzing noise while talking & those I'm on the phone with hear it too. I have called tech support more than once and everytime we try something different, the buzzing clears up - but is normally short lived. HELP!

I have a buzzing sound when I call someone on the phone.
Sometimes it sounds like a Geiger counter. It has a continuous pulsing buzz. It goes away mostly when I plug in the hands free headset. Then the buzzing sound is hardly noticeable. I ordered a ATT moto razr v3 from Hong Kong through Ebay and that's what I got, a buzzing phone. I hope they refund my money. It's so irritating that I can't use the phone at all.

Buzzing noise while making a call

This happens at many phones due to the speaker which buzzes because of the waves made by the conversation. For example try calling someone and be near a desktop pc speaker or radio and you'll hear the same buzzing noise

Buzzing Noise When trying to charge

it means your battery is too discharged to charge. when you plug the phone in, it doesn't use the AC power right away, it uses the battery to jump start it until the red lights come on the front, then it will switch to the AC power. try this. turn on the phone with out it plugged in and as soon as those front lights come on, plug the charger in. if the battery is not too discharged i.e. it didn't power down while you were talking to it, it should work. I went through three batteries until i figured it out

This is a bad mic. Motorola quality control. Try and have it switched by your provider, they will most likely switch it on the spot.

It seems your mic problem. Mobile phones microphones are are used to get such defect. Motorola mic is ractangle type SMD(surface mount device) and replacement needs some skill. If you don't have enough knowledge please don't try to do yourself. Give it to skilled technician, he will replace it with new one but will charge you little.

Phone call

This is most likely either a defective speaker, problem with the internal antenna, or a loose connection inside the phone. If the phone is in warranty, I would definitely contact your carrier and see what your options are for repair.

You may also want to try resetting the phone in the settings menu. Make sure you backup your data first, as it will most likely be wiped clean after the reset.

Do you notice this buzz only when you use the phone in a certain location, or do you get it anywhere you talk on it?
