Open the internet explorer Click on Tools tab on upper right side corner Then click on Internet Options Then click on Connections tab Then click on LAN Settings Make sure nothing is checked over there. Then click OK OK and then try to go online.
Try this. go to firewall. click on exception, and then click "secure socket tunneling" this should solve the problem. If it did not work the first time unclick it again. re start computer, and re do the exception thing.
How are you connecting? Thru a wireless router at home? You may need to upgrade the firmware on the router or just change it to a different channel. You will need to get into the routers control panel to do this.
you need is installed all the software drivers built in wireless
lancard, first you download the installer on this web site>
(http://www.acer.com) and find the compatible to windows installer and that
download that follows, good luck
Hi the router has not picked up your IP address.follow this Turn off your wireless router and internet connection and your laptop aswell for 30secs .Then first turn on your internet (if seperate from the router) if not switch on the wireless router/internet hub and wait untill the lights stop flashing then switch on your laptop and that should work.
Sounds like you need to assign ONE device to be the default connection. Or you could be having a power struggle issue between Vista and another driver over the connection. If you have a new system, make sure you do all the Vista updates before attempting to insert an outside influence. Vista seems to have a problem with letting others be the Alpha dog. Service packs first then try to add other devices. Also, with routers or cams etc., if you attach the device before it tell you to do so, 99.9% of the time it will not work properly.
