If the lamp hours are over the limit, you need to reset the lamp timer by holding down the enter, down, and menu buttons and press power. if that doesn't work and you're not getting any leds lit on the control panel, replace the power supply.

Unlock Sharp XR-10X-L Notevision Proj. says keylock function on

According to pg. 45 in the owner's manual, you turn Keylock function ON by holding down the ENTER key on the projector for about 5 seconds while the projector is being turned on.

To take the Keylock off-- Hold down the ENTER key on the projector for about 5 seconds. If the projector is in standby mode, you can release the keylock by holding down ENTER and STANDBY/ON keys simultaneously for about 5 seconds.

Turn the image 180 degrees

Look for a menu option for ceiling mount. Turning that on or off will flip the picture.

My Sharp XR-40X DLP Projector bulb will not start. The bulb is not near the end of it's projected life nor did I get the "Replace Bulb" warning indicator. It has power and the fan comes on.

Hi Just be aware that the stated lamp projector specs "2000 hour lamp" does not mean you will get 2000 hours. What it means is that the lamp is rated to deliver up to 2000 hours. So some might get 1000 hrs, others 1593 hours etc.
The lamp may have died of its own accord prematurely and obviously unexpected.
With the power and fan coming on my first throughts are either the lamp or the lamp ballast (powers the lamp).
If you need a lamp we are able to supply replacement lamp delivered next time you need one, as we ship internationally and also the same with our revolutionary ICE Digital Daytime projection screens. Cost $US337 with lamp housing or lamp only $270. includes freight. New bulb in now wont work - no power - wont turn on to reset lamp

first, make sure you have the correct lamp. the lamp for the xr-10x-l looks like the xr-10x, but the plugs are different (common mistake). make sure you have the AN-XR10L2/1, not the AN-XR10LP/1. to reset the lamp timer (with the projector plugged in but off), hold down the enter, down arrow, and menu buttons and press the power.
