Re: Zenith A25B33W changes channel sporadically
Sounds like the little button switches are leakey they are mounted to the board and are very small may need to replace them. They are right behind where you push the power on channl up down and so on buttons on the set.

This is applicable to Bell Television Services (Canada) I solved the problem myself after two calls to both Zenith and Bell Television satellite service. On the bottom left of the Bell remote control there is a * (STAR BUTTON). Press this * button and within two seconds you must press the channel change button up or down. This will do two things. One; it changes the channel; and also changes the ratio of the satellite signal. There are three satellite signal ratio settings. Try this when you are tuned to a TV channel such as BNN (Canada) (Business News) or The American channel which has a stock ticker usually displayed along the bottom of the TV screen. Select the ratio (setting) that allows the stock ticker to be displayed......hope this helps.........Jim McP
You have to access to the service mode , press at the same time channel up & down and the adjust button up , you will see a menu, find with the remote the funtion channel lock the values are 0 or 1 select 0, now Should be in 1 and that`s because you can not change channels , good luck , please dò not change any other value or better, writte down all the values before you change any.
not sure on this model , but check your menu and see under the setup menu if it has a band select option or tuning band. sometimes the autoprogram may pick up the wrong band. Make sure it is set correctly. I had this where it would just make some certain channels bad.
