That is a mechanical error, to fix this you need to take the unit apart.

If the tape is ejected immediately, that means that probably there is tape rolled inside the VHS drawer, probably because of an old jam.

You need to access the internal mechanics to fix the problem, this will be much easier on a dvd unit rather than a combo TV.

Bought this tv/vcr combo at a garage sale. They said it worked. I have no remote. When I insert a video tape it immediately ejects the tape. Any suggestions?

Cassette tape is not loading properly. You should check its belts. This is purely a mechanical trouble. To access it, you have to take out the deck mechanism out. If you wish to get more details, check this site. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts, either by type in the Brand name to your set in its search box, or view it in Mosaic / Timeslide / Flipcard option

Mitsubishi VCR Model HS-821V Ejects Video Cassette & gives an error code E4

Sometimes things like that are caused by the mode switch which will either need to be cleaned or replaced. It's worth looking inside for damage inside the unit. Pay close attention to plastic parts.

VHS cassette accepts and ejects with kir..r...r sound. I have removed the power cord (Power OFF) and cassette was inserted halfway and then plugged the power cord (Power ON). At this time the VCR ejects...

First of I think you have a K-Deck mechanism. If you do a Google search for "Panasonic K-Deck" you should find the free information. If you can't you will need to E-Mail me.
This sounds like a a timing problem, perhaps caused by some damage to the Cassette Holder. The mode switch could be part of the problem too. They are quite tricky to set up to get the timing right, I do know the Cassette has to be inside the machine to set it up. The good news is that parts are easy to get hold of, so if any thing is damaged it can be replaced. Curry's partmaster is a good place for parts.

I have a VCR Panasonic NV - FJ623 and when I insert a video cassette into it for playback or recording purposes,it always ejects the video cassette. Can you help, please?

I'ts likely that the record sensor that pushes on the tab on the tape is bent or broken. Making the VCR think you are trying to record on to a protected tape.

Power goes off when a cassette is inserted. Tried cleaning heads but it won't even run that. When power is turned back on the cassette is immediately ejected.

Good day!!!

Most common problems
  • VCR refuses to FF or REW and shuts off.
  • VCR shuts off entering PLAY or REC or at random during PLAY or REC.
  • VCR eats tapes.
  • VCR doesn't accept tapes or ejects them without cause.
  • Sound is wavery, fluctuating, or muddy.
The cause for all of these is very often a bad idler tire or other dirty, worn, or tired rubber parts

Inserted cassette doesn't play and immediately ejects

Could be a mode switch problem, you could try Servisol video 40 on the switch, or it might need replacement.

Had the same problem. took cover off, cleaned the recording heads. Also look on the left and right of casett chassie. You'll see to thin green strips sticking up with a black elctronic device. Chech to see if it is aimed at the clear plastic pin near the little black plastic gear in the middle. mine was out of alignment on the left one. Works know. Good luck

VCR continually tries to eject the tape after it is inserted

If you have cleaned the head with a good head cleaner and you are still having a problem...the belt is probably worn. A good head clean should fix the problem.
