Question about Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook
when sorting out the loft (as you do) we found this old Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook from my mum has this laptop from her old work with a password on keybord and user name/password when windows starts up.
She remembers the keyboard password (it was on a post it on the keyboard lol) but not the username password? was going to give it to my lil sis but need to work out password or wipe computer and start again?
Thank you in advance x
If it's windows XP the easiest way is to wipe it out and start over. You could try and hit the F8 key when it starts up and boot into SAFE MODE, you should have the option to log on as Administrator if it asks for a password try and hit ENTER. if it lets you in then you can change the other account.
